The 120-meter torch dismantling project of Maoming Petrochemical is completed.

On April 7, 13:00 pm, with the muffled sound of a huge object hitting the ground, the former D torch of the aromatics workshop of Maoming Petrochemical Chemical Division was dumped in an integrated direction. This marks the settlement of the demolition project of Maoming Petrochemical, and another great achievement for the intelligent demolition business of Haijiang Group!
Founded in 1955, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is the first refining and chemical enterprise built independently by new China. At present, it is the largest refining and chemical enterprise in South China. After more than 60 years of development, it has become one of the largest integrated oil refining and chemical enterprises in China in terms of production scale.
Maoming Petrochemical D torch is mainly composed of torch head, molecular seal, tower frame, torch barrel and attached tower piping. The overall height of the torch is 120 meters (including the torch head) and the weight is 280.037 tons. It is one of the tallest torches in the petrochemical industry, which is difficult to dismantle. The D torch was placed in a small space, which required high precision of directional lowering. And Maoming Petrochemical requires the normal operation of the plant during the dismantling operation, which has increased the difficulty of the construction.
If it was a traditional lifting and dismantling operation, the construction period was expected to be 45 days. However, this demolition was a key point of the maintenance of Maoming Petrochemical. Therefore, the project department of Haijiang Group made a meticulous construction plan after several field surveys, considering the complex environment of the site and repeated reviews and arguments, and decisively adopted the new technology of structural center of gravity conversion and lowering.?The construction period from the preparation to the whole dumping was only 6.5 days, and the actual demolition site took only 4 hours to complete the whole D torch dumping. Haijiang Group successfully finished the dismantling task, which won precious time for the subsequent maintenance work of Maoming Petrochemical and demonstrated the speed of Haijiang, which won the heartfelt praise of the customer and laid a solid foundation for further in-depth cooperation with Maoming Petrochemical!
